Earlier in the year, I ordered and sampled the Myvegan Snack Box from Myveganafter seeing several ads on Facebook. Myvegan is a vegan nutrition company, with a goal to make plant-based well-being simple. The company produces a range of vegan snacks, protein powders, nut-butters and drinks to help supplement a vegan diet. Myvegan currently, enjoys the acclaim of being the UKs #1 online vegan nutrition brand!
Accordingly, I was pretty excited to sample some of their products – after all you can’t be #1 without offering something that keeps people coming back! The snack box I received contained a mixture of all their best-selling snacks, including; Baked Cookies, Gooey Filled Cookies, Pea-nut Squares and Carb Crusher Bars. The treats included in the Snack Box seem to vary over time as does the price, expect to pay between £15.99 or £18.99 per box when they are in stock. Alternately, you can purchase all the snacks included in this review individually as samples or in bulk.
I was able to sample the following products:
• 1x Salted Caramel Baked Cookie
• 1x Double Chocolate Baked Cookie
• 1x Double Chocolate & Caramel Gooey Filled Cookie
• 1x Double Chocolate & Peanut Butter Gooey Filled Cookie
• 1x Choc Berry Pea-nut Square
• 1x Choc Orange Pea-nut Square
• 1x Choc Chip Pea-nut Square
• 1x Banoffe Carb Crusher
• 1x Choc Peanut Carb Crusher
• 1x Choc Orange Carb Crusher
These cookies are baked from a dense dough studded with chocolate chips. I tried both the Salted Caramel and Double Chocolate flavours although there is also a Choc Chip variation. These cookies are very filling and quite stodgy, so great if you want something to fill you up! At the same time they can be enjoyed both cold out the packet and warmed up in the microwave (although the flavours come through less when warmed up). The flavours were both really nice (caramel was definitely a personal favourite) and I found both cookies very moreish.
One additional benefit of these baked cookies is that they are enriched with 14g of plant-based protein. This means as well as satisfying your sweet-tooth they help you get your daily recommended protein intake in! I really recommend trying these if you want something sweet and versatile. These make a great portable snack if your out on the go, but also a nice dessert when warmed up.

Gooey Filled Cookie
These chocolate gooey filled cookies are a decadent upgrade on the baked cookies. Myvegan offers two flavours: Double Chocolate & Caramel and Double Chocolate & Peanut Butter. I wouldn’t say the insides are “gooey” as described, but they are soft. They do however become more gooey when warmed up in the microwave. These filled cookies contain a little less protein then the baked cookies at around 13.1g.
These filled cookies definitely feel more pudding-ish then the baked cookies. Both flavours are delicious, although the caramel is very sweet (maybe overly for some people) while the peanut butter can be slightly cloying. Although the novelty factor of being stuffed is fun, I would assert that the baked cookies are the better option. I would still recommend trying these gooey filled cookies though as they are delicious!

Made with cacao butter, chocolate chips, and roasted nuts, these gluten-free Pea-nut squares come in three flavours: Choc Berry, Choc Orange and Choc Chip. These treats were slightly less sweet then the other Myvegan treats so might suit people who dislike their snacks being overly sweet. The texture of these snacks were quite moreish, both crunchy and chewy. The flavours on the other hand were all bit lacking, although the Choc Berry was definitely the superior of the three.
These Pea-nut Squares do come with the additional benefit of not being too carb heavy, while still being loaded with 12g of protein. As a snack I think there are better vegan options out there then these Pea-nut Squares. Additionally, for those worried about carbs, protein powder might be a better option. However, the flavours offered are all acceptable so if you particularly enjoy chewy/crunchy snacks they might be worth a try.

Of all the Myvegan snacks the Carb Crushers definitely are the weakest option on offer. The Choc Orange was underwhelming and the Choc Peanut was only a little better. The only thing to be said of the Banoffee is “oh dear”. AVOID the Banoffee Crushers at all costs unless you really love that artificial banana flavour as they are a bit grim.
All the Carb Crushers suffer from a dusty texture and tended to leave a bad aftertaste. The best thing I can say for these was that they were filling and contained 15g of protein. Regardless, I still do not recommend buying these bars as Myvegan offers multiple better snack options if you need that extra protein. Even if discounted I would not recommend bothering with this range.

The Myvegan website is incredibly easy to navigate and order from. Information about the products is quickly accessible on each product page as well as reviews. Additionally, the Myvegan website has a recipe section (free) showing how you can use their products to make meals or snacks, as well as nutrition and lifestyle advice sections. They also offer an app which allows you to access exclusive offers, although often run promotions on their website as well.
Ordering from Myvegan was easy and delivery was pretty quick. Bigger orders of £40+ receive free delivery, although I would recommend making a smaller sample order before spending so much money on Myvegan products. The snacks themselves are somewhat pricey, although definitely comparable to other high protein snacks on the market. If your not really into fitness, or don’t need the additional supplements, I recommend not paying full price for these products beside maybe the cookies. If simply enjoying these products as snacks, wait until sales or offers are available. Students can receive a 25% Student Discount and free delivery using Student Beans.
Overall I was relatively impressed with the Myvegan products that I sampled, the baked cookies and gooey filled cookies being a highlight. I definitely wouldn’t bother ordering the Pea-nut Squares or the Carb Crushers again though. I probably will not try the protein powders or shakes sold by Myvegan, as don’t need supplements to my diet. However, given the quality of products I did sample and the high service provided by Myvegan, I would happily recommend the company to those who are into their supplements and shakes to try. For those just seeking easy snacks, I would advise not to look beyond the baked and gooey cookies on offer.
